A newly completed countryside watercolour. I am very unhappy about the paper, whilst 300gsm, it buckled. I really do like the sizing of the picture (which made it hard to stitch together).

A newly completed countryside watercolour. I am very unhappy about the paper, whilst 300gsm, it buckled. I really do like the sizing of the picture (which made it hard to stitch together).

I really like this one. The colors, the shadow of the trees adding to the perspective and the size of the picture - It really works well with the motif.
The buckles can often be removed by adding water to the back of the picture, placing it on another piece of watercolorpaper (to help absorb the water) and then underneth some books. Let the picture 'sleep it out' and see if it has changed its mind about the urge to buckle tomorrow!
